I recently purchased the Nidesoft Total Video Converter and I am very pleased with the results. It is easy to use and it is a great tool for converting videos from one format to another. The software supports a wide variety of video formats and it is also able to extract audio from movies and save them as FLAC, MP3, AAC, and OGG files. The built-in video preview is a great feature that allows you to preview multimedia files before converting them. The software also exports videos to file types playable on iPod, Palm, Samsung, and other portable devices.
