This update addresses the vulnerability discussed in Microsoft Security Bulletin MS09-034. This update applies to Internet Explorer 8 with the Windows XP Pro (x64-bit) operating system. If the patch requires a reboot, review the patch documentation for a workaround that can be safely used, for the near-term, in lieu of the patch.
