My mother suffered a stroke in 2006 and had difficulty finding words, which is symptomatic of dysphasia (often known as aphasia). Her speech therapist suggested that we develop a scrapbook so that she can point out everyday objects and family members. Being a software engineer I decided to take that a step further and write a program to achieve the same end.
