The daemon runs in the background, constantly monitoring RAID volumes. It includes a frontend for easy configuration and installation. the app supports AppleRAID volumes and is compatible with Mac OS X 10.5-10.8 on both PowerPC and Intel architectures.

RaidEye is a tool for monitoring software RAID sets. When a RAID volume fails, RaidEye warns you with an alert sound and an alert email. RaidEye runs in background as a daemon. The graphic interface is used only to configure and monitor RaidEye status. A bash installer for headless servers is also available.
